Premium Barber Services Provided by the Prince George's County Barber's Association
Look Good, Feel Good, Do Great Haircare Program.
The purpose of the “Look Good, Feel Good, Do Great” haircare program is to offer the gift of free, quality haircuts to those in need within Prince George's County, Maryland. The populations to be served include homeless individuals, under-served communities, veterans, at-risk youth, and their families.
This program is designed to help our participants with:
• Self-esteem – Improved appearance through grooming correlates to improved confidence.
• Performance – Confident people perform better in any environment: work, school, etc.
• Guidance – Hair care is the perfect medium for mentorship and constructive dialogue.
Safe Space Initiative
Focusing on providing quality emergency response support to help licensed Barbers and barbershops within the Prince George's County community maintain a safe environment for all.
Industries, like construction, education, and others, highly recommend CPR & AED certifications to meet national standards and guidelines.
Even though it's not required for the Barbering industry, having a current CPR & AED certification can benefit any resume. It shows you are willing to step up and help in an emergency.
One of the premier programs we are looking to achieve before the end of the year is certifying each licensed barber serving Prince Gorge's county communities with CPR & AED certifications, as well as obtaining a grant to be able to provide AED machines for the barber shops to help increase a person's chances for survival.

Education & Training workshops
The Barber Association provides educational opportunities for barbers of all levels. We offer a variety of courses, from beginner to advanced, to help barbers stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques. Our courses include topics such as styling, shaving, coloring, and sanitation. We also provide workshops focusing on business and marketing skills, Investments, Crypto and Stock Trading, Maximizing Social Media, Personal Finance Development, the Importance of Insurance, Understanding The Importance Of Nutrition and Diets, Know Real Estate, Business Branding, Personal Development, Fitness and Workout, Hospitality and Customer Experience, and so much more.
