HOW TO JOIN OUR COMMUNITY

Eligibility Requirements

  • Licensed Professionals: Must hold a current barber license in good standing

  • Student Members: Enrolled in a recognized barbering program

  • Industry Partners: Businesses and vendors serving the barbering profession

  • Geographic Focus: Primary operation in or connection to Prince George's County

  • Professional Standards: Commitment to upholding association's standards of excellence

Application Process

  • Complete Application: Submit the membership application form online or in person

  • License Verification: Provide proof of current professional licensure (if applicable)

  • Membership Fee: Pay the annual membership dues

  • Application Review: Brief review process by the membership committee

  • Welcome Package: Receive your membership materials and onboarding information

  • Orientation: Attend a new member orientation session (virtual or in-person)

  • Professional Member: $75/year

  • Full licensed barbers with all benefits

  • Voting rights in association matters

  • Eligibility for leadership positions

  • Complete access to all resources and events

Associate Member: $50/year

  • For barber apprentices and students

  • Access to educational resources and events

  • Mentorship opportunities

  • Limited voting rights
