THE LEADING ASSOCIATION FOR THE BARBERING INDUSTRY
The barbering industry has seen significant growth and evolution over the years. However, many barbers still face challenges related to education, networking, and recognition.
. The PGCBASSN seeks to address these issues by providing a platform for barbers to connect, learn, and collaborate, ultimately raising the standards of the profession. It is important to uphold the professional standards within the barbering industry, as societal norms change we too must continue our journey of learning, applying, and assessing community needs.
Established in 2017, PGCBASSN is a grassroots association that's mobilizing and organizing licensed barbers and barbershop owners from across Prince George's County to bring about positive changes in the communities we serve, by providing quality and effective resources.
PGCBASSN aims to create a thriving community of barbers that continuously improve and support one another. By offering valuable resources, education, and networking opportunities, the association will contribute to the growth and recognition of the barbering profession.

Meet Our Founder And Director
Christopher J. McDaniel is a master barber, entrepreneur, community advocate, mentor, and inventor whose vision drives the Prince George's County Barbers Association. With years of experience in the grooming industry, Christopher has dedicated his career to elevating the barbering profession while serving the community through innovative initiatives and professional excellence.
As the founder of The Grooming Professionals and inventor of the patented Trinity Chair Covers, Christopher brings practical business experience and industry innovation to his leadership of PGCBASSN. His commitment to professional standards, continuing education, and community service forms the foundation of the association's mission and values.
